Harrison Ford and More to be Honored as Disney Legends
ANAHEIM, Calif. — Disney will bestow “legends” status to 14 artists, including Harrison Ford, Angela Bassett and Miley Cyrus, who have shaped the company.
The honorees, who the company says have had a “significant impact” on Disney’s legacy, include director James Cameron, iconic film composer John Williams, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Ripa, among several others.
This year's class of Disney Legends will be inducted into the company's version of the hall of fame in a ceremony Sunday at The Honda Center in Anaheim, California, as a part of the D23 fan convention.

Lagos Cyclist Dies Days After Being Stabbed In The Neck By Armed Robbers
A popular cyclist, identified as Afolabi Mabogunje, has reportedly died days after he was stabbed in the neck by armed robbers in Lagos. A close friend of the deceased named Seun Oloketuyi who used to be a cyclist until four months ago narrated how Afolabi was attacked and robbed at Shodex in Anthony.
According to Seun, Afolabi’s jugular vein was breached which led to his transfer to Luth or Lasuth for surgery leading to his death as he never came out of coma.

One Wasatch, Biggest Ski Resort in North America, Proposed in Utah
Plans are in the works to create what would be by far North America’s biggest ski resort complex, with 100 lifts and more than 750 runs spread over some 18,000 acres—all accessible with a single lift pass.
This week, ski industry leaders in Utah unveiled plans for a project called One Wasatch. Essentially, it’s a Voltron-like mashup of seven existing ski resorts that neighbor and back up into each other in the Wasatch Range east of Salt Lake City: Alta, Brighton, Canyons, Deer Valley, Park City, Snowbird, and Solitude.
PDP Leaders In Closed Door Meeting Over Committee Report
Some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party are currently in a closed-door meeting at the headquarters of the party in Abuja. The party leaders are meeting to come up with an acceptable running mate for the presidential candidate of the main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar.
Naija News had earlier reported that a committee led by former National Security Adviser, Aliyu Gusau suggested some names for the party to pick.
The names submitted to the party include governors, Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) and Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom).
