The president received the council delegation led by its Chairman and the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.
Naija News reports that the Council had a two-day statutory meeting in Abuja, which began on Tuesday.
Unknown gunmen suspected to be terrorists have abducted a Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Joseph Aketeh of St. John’s Catholic Church, Kaduna State. Naija News gathered that the gunmen stormed the church located in Kudenda area of Kaduna South local government area in the early hours of Tuesday.
During the attack, the priest’s security guard identified as Mr. Luka was also killed.
The incident was confirmed by the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kaduna State, Rev Joseph John Hayab.
